There are 1 or 2 names that I would love to add to the list (along with Katherine) but this is the best all round line-up I have seen for this show and even good seats are sensibly priced.....now all I need to do is see if I can find a sensibly priced hotel :D

I am now going to see All Angels twice over Easter. Their rearranged show in Leamington is on Easter Tuesday and they are also appearing at the Royal Albert Hall on Easter Saturday as part of the Classic Response show which has an excellent lineup. The guest list is "Aled Jones, All Angels, Amy Dickson, Blake, Brighton Festival Chorus, Camilla Kerslake, Escala, Faryl, Jennifer Pike, Paul Potts, Raven and Rhydian"

Really like the new All Angels album 'Fly Away' it is quite different from their first two albums, but it is well worth a listen!

Great version of Mr Sandman, well worth a look!

John and Dazza, thanks for posting some really lovely photos.

I managed to get a ticket when they appeared at the O2 back on the 2nd of December as part of a much larger event. Here are some photos that I took, nowhere near as good as those already posted but I was quite a way away and the stage and back lighting was minimal.

Last night I attended a Christmas concert by Thomas Spencer-Wortley at Birmingham Town Hall where All Angels were special guests, and as a late addition to the bill they were also joined by Camilla Kerslake.

The concert was very enjoyable and the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. It is the longest indoor concert that I have been to with each half lasting just over an hour.

It was wonderful to see the girls again, after my last concert in July. In the first half they performed I’ll Fly Away, the title track from the upcoming new album, Fly Away and a version of Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer’ which they have been performing on the recent Young Voices tour, it was something a little different from the girls and I really enjoyed it.

In the second half they performed the Ice Dance, which is the theme tune to Edward Scissorhands, and also an a cappella medley of Christmas songs including Ding Dong Merrily On High. The girls also took part the Les Miserables Medley, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night and White Christmas.

As well as All Angels, there was a wonderful array of talent on display. Thomas Spencer-Wortley was superb. His music isn’t new to me having followed him over the past year but it was the first time I had seen him perform live and I was very impressed.

I was also extremely impressed with Camilla Kerslake who I was also seeing for the first time, I have her album and have been playing it quite a lot recently so it was a very pleasant surprise when it was announced at the weekend that Camilla was going to be performing.

Mairead Carlin and Natalie Hope were very good along with the Midnight Quartet and the TSW Ensemble who were excellent.

Someone who also deserves a mention is Thomas’ brother Oliver Spencer-Wortley, who has written or arranged a lot of the songs in the performance including All Angels version of the Ice Dance.

There was a signing afterwards and it was lovely to meet the girls again, as well as Thomas and Camilla. I got the programme signed but unfortunately I couldn’t stick around for photographs, as I had to catch my train. I do have photographs of the performance though...

Unfortunatly I took no photo's of Thomas and Camilla, I forgot to charge my batteries and as I was there mainly for All Angels I was saving the photo's for them.

Just heard from St John's box office that the Celebrate Christmas concert with Thomas Spencer-Wortley on the 20th Dec with All Angels has been cancelled - no reason given but I suspect it may have been due to poor ticket sales as there were loads of seats left when I looked yesterday. :crying:

I hope the other two dates at Birmingham and Harrowgate are going ahead...

Thought you might like to know that All Angels will be performing the Grand Final anthem 'Jerusalem' at the Super League Grand Final between Leeds and St Helens at Old Trafford in Manchester tomorrow evening.

Coverage of the game starts at 5:30pm on Sky Sports 1. In previous years, Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson have had the honour of singing Jerusalem on rugby leagues big night under the lights at the Theatre of Dreams.

Hi Everyone,

Some of you may know that Laura is from Ipswich. The local football club Ipswich Town played Newcastle United on Saturday, the two clubs closest to the heart of Sir Bobby Robson, for who Katherine sang at his memorial service last week.

Because of this fixture a number of events took place before and after the game to celebrate the life and acheivements of Sir Bobby. Laura sang 'Abide With Me' before the game and Sir Bobby's favourite song 'My Way' at half time.
