Elbow - Foot. If someone beats you to it you'll have to delete yours and post another. If a person can't understand the connection between the two words they can challenge you - and you or them gets to look silly!

Just a few points here:

If your challenge is successful you get to restart the game (in this thread).

If the game grinds to a halt because no one has replied to a challenge or because the successful challenger has failed to post a new word, the game can be restarted by anyone after 1 hour (or even sooner ).

Please look at the previous posts before you post

Are you repeating something has already posted a couple of posts ago?

Please look at the previous posts after you posted

Has someone posted the same time, if so, consider editing and revising your post and hope that no one follows on from you because they haven't checked either

For those of us who like to include a picture PLEASE include the words as well. We've had some cases of pictures not appearing and no way of knowing what the word is.

I'll start a new game after 1000 posts, maybe, not always

John

Last words from the previous game

Waterloo

name wild birds

i will start lapwing

Five Letter Scrable Game 5

Bob Scullen suggested 4 word scrabble on the old forum

Katrina suggested 5 word scrabble for a new game

The RULES:

It is very simple, the rules are as follows:

You can only change one letter.

You cannot add letters or change them around. I’m adding a new game that I hope everyone will like. I got permission from Graham who started the Katherine ABC game on here , and this is a take off of that. I thought it would be fun to learn more about Katherine’s amazing home country of Wales this way. I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited Wales 3 times and there’s a lot to learn and see. Welsh words are welcome on this game but if you use a word spelled in Welsh please follow it up with it's meaning in English so that perhaps we can all learn a bit more about the language as we play the game. Steve. :)

A ) Alderman Davies School

Katherine Jenkins ABC - Game 5

Thanks to Samantha Jayne for this idea

I got the idea for this game of a Disney forum i used to be member of, on there it was called Disney ABC. The explanation:

"In this one, you name a Disney character, object, place, song, or movie title that starts with the letter of the alphabet following the one that's been used in the post before yours."

That would be the explanation for the disney verison, but ours is all about KJ. So we would play using:

*. Songs

*.Albums

*Schools she attended

*. Family Members

*Names of shows

*Favourite films.

Etc. Basically anything to do with KJ.

Does that explain it okay?

Also once we reach Z we just start from A again. Have fun!

Last word from the previous game

P) Placido D.

Do You Prefer This Or That Game

I'd thought I'd start a new game as I was getting bored.

Basically all you have to do it say two things that you would like to know what people prefer. The game features Anagrams of UK Towns & Cities but with the vowels missing.
For example: PVLLR (9) = LIVERPOOL (number in brackets= number of letters).
Believe me; it's not as easy as it first sounds. There will be cases where more than one place has the same consonants and same number of letters. In these cases the alternative answer is acceptable. I have noticed an increasing tendency to go around in circles with some other forum games, but with such a vast number of place names available to choose, the chances of repetition are greatly reduced. I’ve called the game Around the UK.

The person solving the puzzle should post the answer, then provide the next anagram (not forgetting to add the number of letters) If the puzzle remains unsolved after (say) 2 days, then the puzzle setter should post a clue. Does anyone fancy giving it a try?

A fairly easy one to start off:- MNGTRH (8)

The best player in the universe

Hello guys .

I know probably most of you are bad so I want to show you guys the best player I have ever seen.
He is insane,he is so sick that i couldn't believe when i saw it..
My mom,my grandmother and my grandfather all came to see this GOD ..
This guy is immortal . We've had some cases of pictures not appearing and no way of knowing what the word is.

I'll start a new game after 1000 posts, maybe, not always

John
Five letter Scrabble Game 1

Bob Scullen suggested 4 word scrabble on the old forum

Katrina suggested 5 word scrabble for a new game

The RULES:

It is very simple, the rules are as follows:

You can only change one letter.

You cannot add letters or change them around.
