we all know katherine would be great as carmen i think shes more than proved that.any company that has kath,on the team would know 100% of her was with them.

It doesn't mean that it won't happen but the RAH have listed Carmen tickets on their site for next Feb/Mar and they have Cristina Nassif and Antonia Sotgiu listed as playing Carmen. Let's hope for more news related to Katherine in Carmen soon :)

Russell - let's hope you're right. Would be an amazing combination, Katherine, Carmen and the round at RAH. I saw a performance of Swan Lake in the round there many years ago and can only imagine how good Carmen could be (especially if it stars a certain Welsh lass) :)[/quote] I agree with you Keith. Re Katherine taking the role of Carmen one day, this would certainly be an ideal opportunity for her wouldn't it? And in a venue she is familiar with too! Nevertheless, I would probably be tempted to see the show regardless of the possible star line-up, as have not seen this opera yet which have been meaning to see.
