I live in SC so there are no great venues real close by ...
but you know what? It does not really matter because if Katherine does a show anywhere in the US or Canada, I will be there!

| She has several appearances coming up. She's singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City on July 20th & 21st. It's a HUGE venue that seats 22,000 & will be similcast to BYU & various Mormon event centers around the country. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/entertainment/54141054-81/jenkins-choir-perform-dancing.html.csp She's also going on tour with Andrea Bocelli and they are appearing in San Jose Ca on Nov 23rd, at the MGM Grand in LV on Nov 24th, in Houston on Nov 28th, in Dallas on Nov 30th, in Rosemont Il (ie near Chicago) on Dec 2nd, and in Brooklyn (NYC) on Dec 5th. The are all large venues that seat between 12,000 and 19,000. Bocelli - being still FAR better known here than Katherine - is the main draw. | I read last night that Katherine will be performing along with Nathan Pacheco at the Straz Center in Tampa, Florida, on March 1st next year. It is an extra concert that has been added to the Tampa Opera season. Angus.

I read last night that Katherine will be performing along with Nathan Pacheco at the Straz Center in Tampa, Florida, on March 1st next year. It is an extra concert that has been added to the Tampa Opera season. Angus. Just announced apparently. That's a new performance I'd not yet heard of. Unlike the previously announced performances (where Katherine was a guest performer) this sounds like it's HER concert with Nathan along. A 2,500-seat venue - pretty darned good.

It sounds great, but it is in the wrong corner of the USA. Diagonally opposite would be better I think!  I wonder if it will be recorded. Angus.

I've never ventured in the eastern US more than a single trip to Maine, but already I'm getting excited anticipation for the possibility of seeing Katherine there
(of course, having her perform in Toronto, or Montreal would be equally as nice!

| I am not surprised, but glad to hear it. I couldn't find any recordings of it, but even if I did, Tricia would be after me if I posted a link!! I enjoyed the concert in San Jose also, but wasn't happy that Katherine didn't actually get to sing much. While I really enjoyed hearing Bocelli the only reason I attended was to see KJ perform for the first time. Still quite a good concert. She was wearing the same red dress that she wore for that tree lighting.
I'm now looking forward to the Fresno concert where it is only Katherine singing, and I'll be in the front row instead of far back and to the side. The Bocelli concert tickets are between 2 times to 8 times more expensive than the Tampa and Fresno ticket prices.
