| Well gee shucks gal, you sure are lookin' perty and havin' a good ole hoe down in them cotton pickin' yankee states thar. Theys just lovin' ya same as we do but you darn well make sure you get yourself back here with yer kin or I'll be over thar. Just ain't fittin' fur you to be gawn so long. No wonder it's so gray and rainin. Ah'm fit to bust. Hard to get out of that once you're in. :-)) Kath you are simply a revelation, just phenomenal. The professionalism is breath-taking. I'm almost thinking of you as the Dancer rather than the singer I know. So pleased for the timing of this as well. Much needed I imagine, after everything and probably a blessing to be in a whole other environment for a while. Sooo talented, superlatives fail. Close friends and relatives having to close my mouth for me. What stratosphere will you end up in. I'm so glad that America gets it now. They're waking to the magic. So much Katherine. What do you think when you put your head on the pillow? You are so blessed in that happy, unique convergence of qualities. Just love you to bits and send you the biggest hug. Hi Katherine. My apologies for being behind on my response. There are simply no words to express how incredibly proud I am of you. It comes as no surprise to me that you are doing so well on the show , but I'm very grateful that America has embraced you and along with them and the U.K. votes has got you through to the semi finals. Keep up the great work and fingers crossed fo the finals and hopefully a mirrorball tropy. But from this point forward no matter what , you have done yourself and your fans very proud. You are no longer a secret in the USA  . I'm hoping that a concert tour is in the coming future. Also Katherine I would love to see you come to Kansas City , Missouri central USA. After seeing you 4 times in Wales ( and looking forward to the 5th ) It would be a dream come true for me. To see you in my hometown. We have a brand new state of the art venue here . It's the Kaufman Center For The Performing Arts. It opened last September and already some names you are very familiar with have performed there. Placido Domingo performed on opening night. Juan Diego Florez performed in February 2012 and just this past Sunday May 6th Alfie Boe performed there. The acoustics are second to none in the world. There is an auditorium for theatre ( the one in the photos ) and another one for concerts. Absolutely a gorgeous building and I know for certain you would sell the place out. Below are some photos. | Katherine: Maybe I shouldn't start by calling you Katherine, BUT, I have been a fan for so long - having seen you a few times live in England on business trips there, and on TV now, that I hope you will not fault me for being personal. As an important aside, I have three "Katherines" who are very important to me - One cousin, One friend, And one who literally brought me back from the dead, dying three times, being pronounced dead the third time, in 2008 - Long story which would be boring to anyone but me, so I feel a very close connection to any amazing Katherine. Anyway, as this huge "fan" of yours, you continuously amaze me - there seems to be nothing you cannot do perfectly - including recovering from the OCCASIONAL stumble with a huge smile and bright, sparkling eyes, as you did last night on DWTS, and as I always try to do - thinking that there is nothing more important in life than moving on from the occasional stumble... I hope you feel better soon, and you get my vote for "The Best" in everything you do - stumbles included... Just trying to bring one of those amazing smiles to your face, and perhaps a chuckle about our occasional stumbles... As they say, If we cannot laugh at ourselves, then we are in real trouble... Case in point as I slipped into the coma that I hinted at in 2008, the last thing I did was to make everyone in the ICU laugh - and it helped...

Hi Katherine, I hope you get time to read all the great messages you have received so far in this thread. So many folks truly love you, & deservedly so...you really do have the complete package!
A huge Congratulations on you Great result on DWTS - you Rock girl!! I so hope that, as a previous poster said...America gets it now.
I'm just an ordinary guy down here in Australia and, like everyone else, some days are a struggle...but since I found your music & your incredible voice about 2 years ago, all I have to do is play one of your songs and you lift me out of whatever mire I'm in and I can feel the positive energy come back & a smile on my face.
Dear Katherine, you have an amazing convergence of gifts and, because you work so hard and always give 110%, your beautiful soul has an incredible power to touch anyone who will just listen & change them in a positive way. That's why I believe you are such an important Artist in the world today. Quite simply, you have Awesome talents & more than ever the world needs amazing people like you And through it all you remain yourself...so sweet & humble, but also very determined & focused. I dips me hat you, m'lady.
You are a major Star & I know you are very busy, but I pray you will manage to return sometime soon to Australia to do some shows. There are so many fans who love you here. But I realise you have just cracked the American market (hopefully wide open) & it's so important to take the opportunities that will come your way in the next 12 months. Go for it baby!!

| Hi Katherine! I just wanted to tell you that my given name is also Katherine Jenkins - maybe we are cousins! I go by "Kathy" and am married, so now have a different last name). I live in Charleston, SC and my Jenkins ancestors were from Wales. The first mention of Jenkins in South Carolina was William Jenkins who arrived on the 1st fleet - aboard the Carolina - 1669/1670. I would love to know more about my Jenkins ancestors in Wales. I enjoyed watching you on DWTS - a huge fan and I was so disappointed that you and Mark didn't win. Cheers! Kathy Jenkins :-)

Have been a fan since your Rock Center concert in NYC 2010 with the remarkable young talent Jackie Evancho. That was great exposure for you - and for her - here in the US. Your duet was truly special and touching. You looked like mother and daughter, both with angelic voices. Your generosity to your young colleague was very evident, as was the appearance of great joy in performing together. Whatever the case, I think it was a beautiful paring for a holiday event.
You totally surprised the American audience with your performances on Dancing with the Stars. By that I mean, you totally impressed them, because, as you've noted, not many were very familiar with you in the States. Based upon all you've done, a smart manager would soon put you on the path of Grace Kelly, Eva Marie Saint, Whitney Houston or Kim Novack - as an extraordinarily graceful beauty and remarkable talent in the performing arts.
Your abilities as a singer have been fully validated by your success as a classical soprano. Your talents as a dancer were validated in the first episode of "Dancing with the Stars" - where the judges compared your performance with that of a professional. And you sustained that level of performance throughout the many weeks of the DWTS challenge - Mr. Driver of Green Bay was fantastic, but you could easily have prevailed had you been a US Olympian or media personality here in the states.
Your talent as a performer will ultimately show you to be worthy of legend if you make the right choices going forward - and I hope you will find opportunities in the film world in addition to what you are doing. $20 Million per film makes it a lot easier on the personal side. Just make good performance decisions from this point, and you'll be set for life. Being set for life is a great place to be. Then, you make your own decisions. Choose the life you want - it is within reach!
