| Tricia Thanks for the articles But you DO know you're killing me here with the resulting excitement and desire to leave for concert NOW! Not to worry... I've locked the doors til Friday flight time. Got plenty of food in larder for me and Puff (my kitty).

Will Puff the magic kitty be alright while you are gone? I hope that you have a wonderful time. Don't get lost in the desert mind! Angus.

Angus:Puff would love you for "getting" her essence from long distance. And yes, a day before the tix arrived, I found a "come in to feed" kitty sitter right here in my neighborhood after searching the internet. In despair I went to the neighborhood clubhouse and TaDA! found an ad on the cork board. There's a lesson in there doncha' think? This will be an experiment vav Puff cuz she is very doglike and shadows my steps when I am home. For sleeping chores she seeks me out and crashes within sight of me, as is the case now. I'm a bit worried about PAAAAY BAAACK behaviors for leaving her; she's a master of the guilt trip too. I have a manageable 4' high metal corral I can put in the L R with all she needs: Litter box, a blankey with my scent, food, H2O etc. It has a gate and is made of a 1/4" steel rails up and down so it has holes in it she can see out of. Very sturdy gizmo and it would curtail tearing up the wordwork or whatever. I've tried conversations with her about Katherine's talents and how they delight me... she's not buying it. She just stares at me stoicly, not saying a word Oh yes, she talks to me too. Each morning we go through a little greetings ritual as I do my ablutions (wow! how did I pull up that arcane word) ... I "wash up" is it. And then again in the LR and kitchen as I prep the day and her food we talk . She uses various voices in various conversations. So I'm going on this SLC trip to see Katherine with a few hauntings from Puff but I refuse to be intimidated. I'M GOING and that's that. Kate PS Thanks for the good wishes. "desert mind"??? wha' iz tha'. Oh oh oh wait... it's like "Mind! don't get lost in the desert." Right? I couldn't figure out what a "desert mind" was. We both speak English but as a 2nd language sometimes. Regards, Kate PS: Wish you could have joined the fun. Will answer all event questions when I get back. Maybe you'll enjoy vicariously if I write vividly enough.

Maybe I should have inserted a comma. I am not sure if that is an English usage of 'mind' or a Scottish one, but it is so familiar to me that I did not think it would be alien to anyone. Yes, English is my second language, although Scots and English have common roots. Between Scots, English and whatever it is they speak in North America, I get a bit confused sometimes! Angus.

| Angus: A comma would have helped. My 2nd language remark was frivolous, had no idea English is a 2nd language for you. I was actually referring more to me vav Brit style English. It works both ways doncha' know. Your 2nd snide remark is again noted: and again I refuse to respond. So I think that's settled. Kate

Thanks Tricia for the church link.
While browsing the site, I also was able to clarify the times of the show on the internet. The BYU page was slightly confusing, but the Mormon website specifically says when all the shows are on and when, according to Mountain Standard Time.
