I know we are not exactly "at a loss" when it comes to Katherine and Christmas music (Have yourself a merry little Christmas, O holy night, & Silent night are just a few carols she has recorded) but is their any 2012 plans to do more Christmas recordings, either perhaps as a bonus to the new album or one song included in the album again?

We have wished that Katherine would bring out an album of Christmas songs and Carols for the last few years but agree if not an album a bonus Christmas one to the new album would be great especially as the release date is so close to the Festive Season.

Great news. I must admit I thought that all the exposure in the USA created by the success of performances on DWTS that Katherine wouldn't be back in the studio any time soon. Great news that there is a new album aimed at December release 
Actually I suspect that if anything, her success on DWTS has PROMPTED a quick return to the studio as she and her management try to get a new album out "while the iron is still hot".

Would have thought the iron would have cooled considerably by the time an album is released in December. Just glad there will be a new album this year. Thought she may be spending more time in the US in the near future.

Hopefully not too much - she does afterall have (so far) eight concert appearances here in the US between now and then (and they are ALL big concerts seating between 12,000 and 22,000 - and although none of them are concerts for her alone, she does feature pretty prominantly in all of them - especially the 22,000-seat Salt Lake City shows). It IS important for Katherine to maintain a presence here (at least as much as possible given her tight schedule) between now and then however - which it seems she and her management team ARE trying to do. Yes Great News, am saving my pocket money lol. As for content - yes Classical would be nice but am always happy to buy, as before, something 'fresh' or challenging and with Katherine she always wins me over. Thanks Tricia for checking it out.
