Welsh superstar, Katherine Jenkins, has announced what looks likely to be the biggest homecoming concert of the year. Entitled "Katherine in the Park", the special one-off extravaganza at Margam Park on Sunday July 8th will be the star's only Welsh concert this year, and will also feature her very special guest, Juan Diego Flórez, considered the hottest opera talent in the world today. Award-winning choir, Serendipity, and the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Anthony Inglis, complete a sensational line-up.

Neath girl, Katherine, has sold some two million records since her debut in 2003 and had four top ten CDs, all former #1's, in the charts at the end of 2006. The mezzo-soprano has also sold out many of the world's biggest concert halls in the last year, from the Royal Albert Hall to the Sydney Opera House, including full houses at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, The National Eisteddfod and The Wales Millennium Centre (3 nights). Katherine's new album, 'Serenade' is released on Monday 6th November. Featuring a host of favourite classical tracks such as 'The Flower Duet' - featuring Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Pachelbel's 'Canon' and
Puccini's 'O Mio Babbino Caro', 'Serenade' also includes a sensational new version of the Bryan Adams classic, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You - with Bryan Adams on guitar.

This weekend Katherine will be recording a very special single. Appearing at the Wales v Australia rugby match at the Millennium Stadium, Saturday 4th November - Katherine's performance of 'The Green Green Grass Of Home' will be recorded and released as a single on 20th November. The single will also feature an exclusive version of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'.
